Just Us Talking
I am a writer, a publisher, a mom, a wife, a pet owner, an animal lover, a daughter, a sister, a mother-in-law, an HR wonk, and a public administrator. I love to read, watch action movies, and spend time with my family and pets as well as spend lots of time on the net. I write a mystery series called The Dead Detective with my husband, Bill, and I write science fiction and fantasy under the name of Mari Atherton.
One of my best friends is my sister Carleen. Back when I used to have free time, before we had the internet, Carleen and I would talk on the phone for hours at a time about anything and everything. We would talk for so long that my daughters started calling their Aunt Carleen, "Talks-Many-Moons". This blog is a tribute to those long ago conversations. (By the way, Carleen and I don't have time anymore for long phone calls, but through the wonder of the internet, we are constantly in touch. Somehow, however, "Emails-Many-Moons" doesn't have the same ring to it.)
